RECOGNITION OF EXILIED PEOPLE FROM COLOMBIA

This page is a recognition of Colombian people exiled in Canada, but also exile as one of the forms of victimization produced by the armed conflict in Colombia. It is a way of approaching the collective map of truth and the process of construction of Colombian history from the experience of exiled people as victims of the armed conflict. 

Truths about conflicts are constructed with fragments of stories, and each person in exile represents a piece in this immense puzzle, in this history of pain and dispossession during Colombia’s social, armed, and political conflict. This initiative is part of the Colombian Truth Commission in Canada.
